Le 03 juin 2008 à 20:15:29 par AltharazCes derniers temps, les forums officiels ont été largement consultés par les employés de Funcom. Il était donc normal que Funcom réponde aux nombreuses demandes des fans, et fasse quelques changements dans le jeu.
Mais voyons ce que cela donne!
Voici un résumé des points sur lesquels nous nous concentrons pour le moment...
Chers Hyboriens,
Comme vous l’avez peut-être remarqué, nous avons déployé des mises à jour fréquemment ces deux dernières semaines. Nous espérons que cela va commencer à s’apaiser, mais tant qu’il y aura des problèmes majeurs – et il y en a eu – l’équipe d’Age of Conan fera tout pour trouver des solutions et installer des correctifs le plus vite possible ! Nous avons un plan sur la manière dont nous allons faire évoluer le jeu, car vous le savez, ce que nous avons maintenant n’est que la plateforme, l’aube de ce monde. J’espère que vous appréciez déjà le jeu tel qu’il est, mais je vous assure que ceci n’est que le commencement.
Voici un résumé des points sur lesquels nous nous concentrons pour le moment :

Nous allons ajouter du contenu, plus particulièrement dans les zones de niveau 30 et 50, et rendre la montée de niveau plus agréable, en requérant moins de « grinding ».

Le système JcJ sera revu, nous allons y ajouter des conséquences et plein de petites choses.

Nous réparons les bugs que vous avez signalés à travers les divers canaux mis à votre disposition.

Nous allons ajouter une nouvelle région de niveau 55-60 cet été !

Nous sommes en train d’agrandir le service clientèle, d’équipe communautaire et l’assurance qualité.
1. Renforcer les « zones légères » de notre contenu
Nous avons constaté que certains niveaux de vos aventures hyboriennes ne sont pas à la hauteur de nos exigences de qualité, plus particulièrement la fin des niveaux 30 et 50. Nous allons pallier à ces déficiences de plusieurs manières :

Plusieurs donjons de niveau 30-40 vont être entièrement revus (Château noir, Pyramide des Anciens, Salle au trésor des Anciens)

Plusieurs suites de quêtes vont être allongées et rendues plus intéressantes. Au cas où des joueurs désireraient refaire ces quêtes après les changements, nous allons mettre en place un système leur permettant de le faire.

Nous sommes en train d’ajouter une première série de quêtes dans les Monts Eiglophiens (niveau 55+)

Nous allons également activer certaines quêtes de niveau 30+ qui n’étaient pas présentes au lancement.

A peu près 60 quêtes à travers tout le jeu ont été redéfinies comme « Lore quests », elles vont être mises à jour avec des dialogues audio complets (quasiment une quête par niveau après le niveau 20)
Tout cela arrivera en Juin ! En Juillet, les premiers donjons additionnels pour niveaux 80 seront ajoutés.

2. Révision du système JcJ
Les joueurs aiment notre système de JcJ sauvage et nous envisageons plusieurs solutions pour le rendre encore plus attractif et profitable. Nous allons dans un premier temps y apporter de légères modifications, qui devraient arriver en Juin. Je ne vais pas vous décrire en détail tout ce qui est prévu, mais voici ce que dont vous pourrez profiter dès la semaine prochaine :

Une mise à jour sur la façon dont fonctionnent la perception et la dissimulation en JcJ (rien de majeur, mais plutôt un ajustement).

Un changement dans le nombre d’informations que vous recevez lorsque vous passez votre souris sur un autre joueur.

Nous avons ajouté un système de conséquence au « ganking » (tuer des joueurs bas niveaux en boucle par exemple).

Nous avons également ajouté certaines conséquences au fait de gagner ou perdre des matchs JcJ, et activé les niveaux JcJ.
-
Un changement sur la manière de fonctionner des « crowd-control » en JcJ (immobilisations, repoussements, etc…).

Du matériel JcJ.
3. Une nouvelle région
Nous dévoilerons cette nouvelle région plus tard, mais nous pouvons déjà vous dire qu’elle offrira de nombreuses quêtes, de nouveaux monstres et des endroits de rêves comme des lieux d’horreur. Elle sera conçue pour accueillir les joueurs de niveaux 55-60, et faire la transition avec l’Approche d’Atzel. Nous prévoyons également d’ajouter d’autres régions qui n’étaient pas tout à fait prêtes au lancement du jeu.
4. Corriger les bugs et améliorer notre service clientèle
Funcom a toujours accordé beaucoup d’importance à la satisfaction de sa clientèle. Le succès de notre dernier titre nous impose d’agrandir notre service clientèle. Ceci ira en parallèle avec les corrections constantes de bugs et autres problèmes pour lesquels les joueurs créent des pétitions en jeu. Tout cela va de pair avec l’amélioration des tests et des informations que nous vous donnons, grâce à l’agrandissement de nos équipes « Quality Assurance » et « Community Department ». Je voudrais vous énoncer à nouveau une de mes devises : nous ne sommes pas satisfaits tant que nos clients ne le sont pas ! Vous savez peut-être que nous avions eu des débuts très difficiles avec Anarchy Online en son temps. Cette situation a été extrêmement difficile pour nous, et vous pouvez être certains que nous faisons tout notre possible pour nous assurer que vous appréciez notre nouveau jeu, et tout le support qui va avec !
